The 2011 CILIPS Annual Conference took place at the Mitchell Library, Glasgow, 7-8 June.

All delegates receive entry to the major trade exhibition, presentation sessions and keynotes as well as a conference pack, lunch and all refreshments.

Day One of the Conference featured 3 strands: Digital Libraries, Further and Higher Education and Professional Practice. CILIP CEO Annie Mauger offered an opening keynote on Defining our professional future before being followed by other speakers including Alan Reid, CILIPS President 2011 Owen Stephens, Sarah Porter and Rachel Bruce, JISC Craig Mills, JISC RSC-Scotland NE Andy Nagle, Apple.

Day Two of the Conference featured 3 strands on reader development, professional practice and Branch and Group day sponsored sessions.

A range of speakers followed the Presidential Address from Alan Reid including David Potts, Birmingham City Council Shona Hill, Falkirk Council Natasha Innocent, Race Online 2012.
