Autumn Gathering 2018

The CILIP in Scotland Autumn Gathering returns to the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Glasgow.

Autumn Gathering Sponsored Places by Branches and Groups

North East – This is open to all North East branch members. Write a short statement (3 paragraphs max) on how attending will benefit you and agree to write up a summary of your day for our website. Email it to cilipsne@live.co.uk by 21st September 2018. The successful candidate will be notified by the 28th September 2018.

Tayside – If you haven’t enjoyed a CILIPS Tayside sponsored space this year, now is your chance. We would like to invite interested parties to submit 100 words to tanya.duthie@leisureandculturedundee.com telling us why you would like to attend. The closing date for applications is 21st September 2018.

West – This is open to all West branch members. Write a short statement (3 paragraphs max) on how attending will benefit you and agree to write up a summary of your day for our website. Email it to cilipswest@gmail.com by 21st September 2018. The successful candidate will be notified by the 28th September 2018.

ARLGS – The Academic and Research Libraries Group Scotland (ARLGS) committee are seeking applications from ARLGS members for two sponsored places. One sponsored place will be reserved for applicants working in further education libraries, the other place is open to applicants from higher education, research or other specialist libraries. To apply for this exciting opportunity, all you have to do is submit a short statement of around 200 words outlining why you want to attend the Autumn Gathering, considering how the sessions will benefit your role and professional development. The closing date for this opportunity is 5pm on 24th September 2018. Please send your application to the ARLGS Secretary – sarah.kevill@strath.ac.uk.
