Call for Trustees and Vice President

Good governance needs well informed and active trustees. CILIPS invites nominations from members for the following positions.

Trustees 
CILIPS is seeking nominations for 2 places on the Trustee Board to serve from 1st January 2019 – 31 December 2021. The Trustee Board meets up to 6 times a year and determines CILIPS strategy and policy as well as benchmarking progress against the annually agreed business plan.

Prospective candidates must be members of CILIPS and willing to commit to trustee duties as prescribed by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR).  Nominations should be submitted electronically by the nominee and proposed and seconded by two members of CILIPS. All trustees are offered training for their role.

Nominations open on 14th September and close on 19th October.  In the event of oversubscription elections will be held with the result known by November 28th.

Trustee Role Description

Vice President
CILIPS is seeking nominations for the position of Vice-President to serve from 1st January 2019.  Candidates serve for two years firstly as Vice President and then President in Year Two. The Vice President is an ex-officio member of the Board but does not serve as a Trustee.

Prospective candidates must be members of CILIPS. Nominations should be submitted electronically by the nominee and proposed and seconded by two members of CILIPS.

Nominations open on 14th September and close on 19th October.  In the event of oversubscription elections will be held with the result known by November 28th.
