Call for Trustees and Vice-President

CILIPS invites nominations from members for the following positions.

Trustees 
CILIPS is seeking nominations for 4 places on the Trustee Board to serve from 1st January 2021 – 31st December 2023. The Trustee Board meets 4-6 times a year and determines CILIPS strategy and policy as well as benchmarking progress against the annually agreed business plan.

Prospective candidates must be members of CILIPS and willing to commit to trustee duties as prescribed by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR).  Nominations should be submitted electronically by the nominee and proposed and seconded by members of CILIPS. All trustees are offered training for their role.

Nominations open on 3rd September 2020 and close on 16th October.  In the event of over-subscription elections will be held with the result known by November 30th.

Applications for Trustees from those who are new professionals would be particularly welcomed although we encourage applications from all career stages.

Trustee Role Description

Vice-President (and 2022 President)
CILIPS is seeking nominations for the position of Vice-President to serve from 1st January 2021.  Candidates serve for two years firstly as Vice President and then President in Year Two with an optional third year as immediate Past-President. The Vice-President is an ex-officio member of the Board but does not serve as a Trustee.

Prospective candidates must be members of CILIPS. Nominations should be submitted electronically by the nominee and proposed and seconded by two members of CILIPS.

Nominations open on 3rd September 2020 and close on 16th October.  In the event of oversubscription, elections will be held with the result known by November 30th.
