Website Editor: Antonietta Colasante

Hello! I’m Antonietta and I’m the Website Editor for the SNPC website.  I graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a MSc in Information and Library Studies in 2023 and now work at the Science Museum Group.

Originally from Melbourne (Australia), I completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in English Literature at the University of Melbourne. I moved to Glasgow to undertake my Masters after falling in love with Scotland as an undergraduate exchange student – and do not mind the cold climate at all! In my free time, I love reading, writing, listening to music and going to the theatre and movies. I’m also a frequent dog-sitter for my sister’s deceptively cute multiple-poo, Maxy.

Secretary: Marta Trogu

Hi! My name is Marta and I work as Chief Library Assistant in the Acquisitions and Access department at the University of Glasgow Library. After my BA(Hons) in English, I undertook a MSc in Information and Library Studies and graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2018. I am originally from Sardinia (Italy) and I like to spend my free time reading and writing.

Hi there! My name is Filipa, I’m a MSc Information and Library Studies student at the University of Strathclyde and currently one of the student placements at the Andersonian Library. Previously, I lived in Portugal where I completed my BA in Painting, Fine Arts. In my free time you can find me having Italian food, talking about dragons, or listening to Taylor Swift – or maybe all of those at the same time!

Secretary: Eleanor Rydén

Hi! My name is Eleanor and I have an MSc in Information and Library Science from the University of Strathclyde. Before moving here, I studied English in Northampton, meaning that I now own way too many books that I mostly haven’t even read. Before that, though, I am from Sweden, right outside Stockholm. My free time is usually spent reading, knitting, or, whenever we’re in the same country, hanging out with my dog.

Former Website Editor: Dana Copeland

Hello all! I’m Dana, and I’m a university library librarian. I completed the Information & Library Studies MSc at Strathclyde in 2020, starting my job a few weeks later! I also have an undergraduate degree in English Literature from Glasgow University. As you may have guessed from these degrees, I read a lot in my spare time! I love learning new things, so since I left university I’ve completed a Beekeeping course, been learning Gaelic, and become addicted to crocheting.

Former Chair: Chloe Elder

Hi! I’m Chloe, and I work as a Library Assistant at St George’s School for Girls, Edinburgh. I’ve enjoyed working in libraries and archives since graduating with my MSc in Information Management and Preservation from the University of Glasgow in 2018. With a background also in Book History and Comparative Literature, I like all things bookish. Originally from Florida, I love living in and exploring Scotland with my partner. My hobbies include dance, violin, climbing and cooking.

Former Events Coordinator: Elizabeth Carney

Outside of work, I like walking, playing the piano, and one of my favourite things to do is visit the Glasgow Women’s Library!
