Call for Trustees, Honorary Treasurer and Vice-President

CILIPS invites nominations from members for the following positions:

Trustees 

CILIPS is seeking nominations for 2 places on the Trustee Board to serve from 1st January 2022 – 31st December 2024. The Trustee Board meets 4-6 times a year and determines CILIPS strategy and policy as well as benchmarking progress against the annually agreed business plan.

Prospective candidates must be members of CILIPS and willing to commit to trustee duties as prescribed by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR). All trustees are offered training for their role. Nominations should be submitted electronically by the nominee. The nomination form can be accessed here.

Nominations for Trustee positions close on 8th October.  In the event of over-subscription elections will be held with the result known by 23rd November.

Trustee role description

Vice-President (and 2023 President)

CILIPS is seeking nominations for the position of Vice-President to serve from 1st January 2022.  Candidates serve for two years firstly as Vice President and then President in Year Two with an optional third year as immediate Past-President. The Vice-President is an ex-officio member of the Board but does not serve as a Trustee.

Prospective candidates must be members of CILIPS. Nominations should be submitted electronically by the nominee. The nomination form can be accessed here.

Nominations for this position close on 8th October.  In the event of oversubscription, elections will be held with the result known by 23rd November.

VP and President role description

Honorary Treasurer

CILIPS is seeking nominations for the position of Honorary Treasurer to serve for 2 years from 1st January 2022.  The Honorary Treasurer is also an acting Trustee of the charity.

Honorary Treasurer role description
