For the latest chapter in our Feminist Librarianship story, please join CILIPS as we welcome Scottish Universities Press for an Open Access Week lunchtime discussion group exploring Building a Feminist Nation: Scotland in the Era of Polycrisis, edited by Kim Barker, Helen O’Shea and Talat Yaqoob.
This free, open-access collection brings together leading academics, activists and practitioners to examine structural gender inequalities in Scotland, from poverty and criminal justice to care, climate and AI, setting out an evidence-based roadmap for a fairer, more feminist Scotland amid overlapping crises.
Come along to share your reflections on the book – available to buy directly from SUP or to read online for free – and discuss what open access publishing makes possible for research to inform public debate and drive real change. Whether you’ve read the whole book or just a chapter or two, all are welcome!
