Eilean Donan Castle in Scotland - a medieval-style building with hills, mist and a loch surrounding it.

Join Jennie Findlay, who is currently the Library Services Manager at the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service as she talks to CILIP SW about the work of the Courts Service Library and the career journey she undertook which led her there.

Jennie will share details of the collections and some of the challenges she’s experienced, from struggles with modernising resistant organisations to trying to figure out why her workplace would keep a pre-used coffin…

Visit the Scottish Courts and Tribunal Service website here.

This event is taking place as part of the CILIP SW #InterestingLibraries series – to view the full programme, please click here.

The session will run via Zoom. You will be sent a link during the evening before the event. There will be limited technical support available.

This webinar is part of a ‘free and friendly’ series on interesting or unusual libraries and information management work run by CILIP SW.

As well as being a fun and interesting way to spend a lunchtime with your peers, the aim is also to inform you about unusual career options and share knowledge and challenge assumptions on best practice by talking with those who work in a totally different sector to you.

This event is primarily for those who are members of the SW CILIP network. We are happy to welcome CILIP members from other regions and library and information practitioners who haven’t yet joined CILIP if there is space.

If you have any questions, please contact Helene Russell, Events Co-ordinator for CILIP SW.
