CILIP Seeking Professional Registration External Examiner

CILIP is looking for an External Examiner to contribute to improving Professional Registration standards and procedures ensuring a quality and robust process.
Reporting to our external accreditor the Qualifications Scotland on an annual basis, you must be an academic in a university department teaching on an information-related course. This would be a great opportunity to use your extensive experience and knowledge to contribute to enhancing standards in the profession.
As a Professional Registration External Examiner you will:
- Hold either Chartership or Fellowship level of Professional Registration
- Attend 4 online panel meetings per year
- Use your knowledge of assessment and quality assurance to moderate sample submissions and appeals
- Have strong report writing and effective collaborative skills
- Be able to advise on changes to published processes
- Be passionate about the value of Professional Registration
- Have current CILIP membership
