Alongside organising a range of exciting events throughout 2023 – see the CILIPS calendar for more – the CILIP Retired Professionals Group has opened a consultation to hear your views regarding possible changes to their scope, mission, purpose and therefore name.
Reflecting the tremendous changes that have happened in the world of work since the pandemic, and in particular the fact that many people’s careers are now following much more flexible and less linear pathways, which may include periods out-of-work, working flexibly or on a voluntary basis, the Group want to reach out to support CILIP members who are not necessarily retired but nevertheless may not be working 9-5. Are you currently pursuing a ‘portfolio’ career? On a career break, exploring consultancy, volunteering, part-time work or on parental leave?
