Book Discovery+ Scottish Book Trust share a Learning for Sustainability approach

Book Discovery+ Learning for Sustainability is a new Scottish Book Trust online course with three units, that will provide attendees with lots of high-quality book recommendations, lesson plans on each theme and peer-to-peer support that can be used to enhance educators’ own knowledge of contemporary children’s books and how to use them in educational settings.
You will also have access to further resources you can use to extend your learning to your young people. Each unit will have its own live session:
- Unit 1: Global citizenship (Wednesday 24th April: 4-5.30pm)
- Unit 2: Sustainable development education (Wednesday 1st May: 4-5.30pm)
- Unit 3: Outdoor learning (Wednesday 8th May: 4-5.30pm)
A private viewing link to the recorded session will also be available for those who cannot attend on the day.
