SLG Scotland publish School Librarians Lockdown Toolkit

Category: Blog

School librarians have been providing services to their schools in new and innovative ways this year. To do so, many have found themselves utilising new resources and technology in order to deliver a school library service to their pupils and colleagues.

The School Libraries Group Scotland Committee has thus put together a new School Librarians Lockdown Toolkit to share some resources that their fellow school librarians may be interested in using. It includes information about SLIF, learning resources from Scottish Book Trust, a link to OpenLearn free courses from the Open University, and a link to webinars from the School Library Association, amongst much more.

The toolkit was created with the intention of providing school librarians with helpful links and information should there be another lockdown. It could also be helpful at any point, providing ideas and inspiration for CPD, challenging yourself, and working in new ways. It is a great resource to have at your fingertips!

The Toolkit has been created on Wakelet. Please click here to access the School Librarians Lockdown Toolkit.
