Academic and Research Libraries Group Scotland
ARLGS is the Scottish branch of the CILIP special interest group ARLG
We aim to provide a focus and forum for the professional concerns and interests of everyone working in further and higher education or research libraries in Scotland.
Who are the ARLGS Committee and what do we do?
ARLGS committee work lets you contribute to the direction and focus our special interest group will take. Being a member of a professional committee is a great way to meet with like-minded professionals whilst developing great skills for your CV and becoming actively involved in your community. We also welcome observers along to our committee meetings to have a taste of what committee work is like before agreeing to be involved. Please contact our Chair or Secretary if you have an interest in ARLGS.
The committee also encourages all members to introduce a colleague or friend to the group by bringing them along to meetings and events. It’s great to see new faces and we all benefit from attracting new members to the group. Looking forward to hearing from you, and to meeting you.
